Mark Nagel brought to the Commissions attention that there should be <br />been a change in the employee evaluation form, however, Mark asked <br />that there be a motion to approve the current' form and it be used for <br />O'Connell's annual review. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Cotten, seconded by Peterson TO ACCEPT <br />SCHROEDER REPORT AND SET THE EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTION <br />TO BENEFITS AT $210/MONTH FER FOR F.T. EMPLOYEE AND TO <br />INCREASE PROGRAM PRODUCERS WAGES BY 3%. <br /> <br />8 ayes - 0 nays. motion carried. <br /> <br />ATTORNEY'S REPORT- 7 <br /> <br />7.1 TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP <br /> <br />Creighton informed the Commission that once the FCC form 394 has <br />been received from Meredith there is a 120 day period to prepare for <br />thetransfer of ownership. The 120 days were to analyze the technical, <br />legal, and financial ability of operator. The FCC from 394 should <br />answer most, if not, all questions regarding the transfer of ownership. <br />If the City Councils have questions they may also present them along <br />with the FCC form. <br /> <br />Creighton also stated that all fees incurred are. required by franchise to <br />be reimbursed by operator and that it should take 2 to 3 months to <br />finish work required in the transfer. <br /> <br />7.2 RENEWAL <br /> <br />Creighton stated that he hasn't had much time to work on the renewal <br />and that there has been some struggle developing a municipal specific <br />telecommunication ordinance. He has a meeting with the League of <br />Minnesota Cities in February to further discuss this ordinance. <br /> <br />7.3 RATE REGULATION <br /> <br />Creighton asked to have a motion passed to give the Chair authority to <br />sign the Rate Order he has drafted and will send to the Administrator <br />for execution. The FCC form's 1210 - 1205, submitted by Meredith, are <br />in compliance with FCC regulations. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Schroeder, seconded by Peterson TO AUTHORIZE <br />CHAIR TO SIGN RATE ORDER BEING SENT BY CREIGHTON. <br /> <br />8 ayes - 0 nays. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
