I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I 1 1 :' ,'-'~1 blHKFtl~lb(21~l Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #96- RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS [IMPROVEMENT PROJECT//94-15 SUNWOOD DRIVE NW). WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion passed by the Ramsay City Council on October 26, 1993, the Consulting Engineer, Mr. Peter R. Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Ina., has prepared Plans and Specifications for Improvement Project 94-16 Sunwood Drive NW ~street and bridge) and has presented such Plans and Specifications to the Council for approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOI(A COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. Such Plans and Specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. That the City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper {Anoka County Union) and the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved Plans and Specifications. The advertisement shall be published for 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Administrator until 10:00 a.m. on April 9, 1996, at which time they will be publicly opened in the C0uncJ[ Chambers of the Ramsay Municipal Center by the City Administrator and City Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the Ramsey City Council at 7:30 p.m. on April 9, 1996, in the Council Chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity' to address the Council on the issue of responsibility.
