1
February 21, 1996
Site Plan Review: Riverside Bank
Approximately_0.2 acres of paved surface comprised of the parking area and a portion of the
building will be discharged overland through the drive opening on 142nd Avenue. The remaining
area, including -the future expansion, will drain eastward to a catch basin located just inside the
drive entrance onto Xkimo Street. This catch basin discharges directly to a 30 inch storm sewer
located in Xkinio Street. Ultimately all of the drainage from this site is discharged into a wetland
area located in River's Bend Park which serves to provide water quaity enhancement prior to
' discharging to the Rum River.
It is recommended that a silt fence be provided behind the curbline and fifty foot rock strip
entrances to the site be maintained throughout construction to prevent sediment from being tracked
' onto the adjacent streets and ultimately into the storm sewer and wetland.
Pedestrian Traffic: City Staff is recommending that the development inlcude the installation of a 5
foot wide sidewalk along 142nd Avenue N.W. to continue the existing sidewalk from Xkimo
Street N.W. to T.H. #47.
The Planning Commission will be meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 1996, at the
Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., to review the proposed site plan. A copy
of the case cover sheet is enclosed. You, or your representative, should be present at the meeting
to answer any questions that may arise. Thank you for your cooperation in this process.
If you have any questions, please call me at 427 -1410.
'
Respectfully,
P Y,
CITY OF RAMSEY
Sylvia Frolik Steve Jankowski
Zoning Administrator City Engineer
cc: Planning and Zoning Commission
10-1
