introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #96- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 1996 - 1997 LABOR AGREEMENT WITH LAW <br />ENFORCEMENT LABOR SERVICES, INC. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. (LELS) represents all patrol <br />officers in the City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, representatives of the Local and management have negotiated a contract for <br />1996 and 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the employees in the Local have ratified the agreement; and <br /> WHEREAS, the agreement represents a 4.54% wage and benefit increase in 1996; and <br /> WHEREAS, the agreement represents a 5.86% wage and benefit increase in 1997. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />The 1995 - 1997 Labor Agreement with Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. is hereby <br />approved. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 14th day of May, 1996. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />"l <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> <br />
