CASE <br /> <br />,RECEIVE BIDS AND AWARD CONTRACTS FOR <br />THE 1996 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM <br />By: Steve Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On February 14, 1996, a public hearing was held on the 1996 Street Maintenance Program. <br />The Council ordered preparation of plans and specifications on April 23, 1996, after the <br />60-day commemt period following the public hearing, and authorized bids on May 14, <br />1996. <br /> <br />This year's program includes 14 separate projects which will all consist of crack filling <br />followed by a Chip sealcoating.
