Work Plan GENERAL Our proposed basic engineering services would include all preliminary surveying, preliminary and final design, permitting, plans and specifications, administration, and meetings. Our proposed technical engineering services would include a right-of-way plat, construction staking, full-time resident inspection, as-builts, and project close-out. The plans and specifications would be designed as per Minnesota State Aid (MSA) standards. We have staff available to start designing the project immediately, and propose to have the plans and specifications completed for bidding by September 6, 1996. Our proposed project manager, Mark Graham, P.E., would be in charge of all design, construction observation activities and reviewing all shop drawings. A brief description of each work item is given below: I. BASIC ENGINEERING SERVICES Preliminary Investigations/Surveying/Legal Descriptions - This work includes all preliminary data gathering required to design and implement the proposed project. We propose to complete a preliminary survey of the project site. This work would also inchide one to two meetings with the City of Ramsey to gather all pertinent data, including as-builts of the adjacent streets and utilities, and to finalize the scope of the project. This work would also include preparing the legal descriptions for the right- of-ways of 1,700 feet of McKinley Street and 200 feet of Azurite Street. Preliminary Design - This work includes all preliminary design work for the street and curb and gutter design, sanitary sewer risers, storm sewer, and watermain services. All facilities shall be designed to meet MSA standards. Prepare Permit Applications - This work includes preparing and submitting permit applications for the Water Management Organization, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, Department of Health, and Metropolitan Council Wastewater Division. Final Design - This work includes the final design of the proposed street, curb and gutter, sanitary sewer risers, storm sewer, minor grading of the street and right-of- way, and watermain services. These facilities shall'be designed to meet MSA standards. This work also includes completing a final cost estimate. The project shall be designed in AutoCADD Release 12.0/c format. The City shall receive a hard copy of the project, and a computer disk including as-built and other pertinent information for the City's files. Administration - This work includes all project administration, including attending one to two:Council or Planning Commission meetings as requested by the City.
