Overall rating of satisfactory. High marks for <br />recruiting activities, dependability and commitment to service. Much of her tenure to <br />date has been spent dealing with backlog of work and learning how the organization <br />operates. Goals for the next year include: activating the Human Resource Information <br />System; assuming supervision of Administrative Services staff and holding monthly staff <br />meetings; developing written procedures for personnel functions; completing a review <br />of the licensing section of the City Code; and regularly submitting a written <br />Administrative Services report to the Mayor and Councilmembers. <br /> <br /> Performance Appraisal Summary <br />for Jo Ann Thieling, Recording Secretary <br /> <br />Evaluated by Jessie Hart 2/12/96. Overall rating of satisfactory. High marks for <br />performing cgmmunity service activities such as the annual Pet Clinic; providing support <br />and direction for Administrative Services staff in the absence of the Administrative <br />Services Manager; teamwork; initiative; and dependability. It is also noted that she <br />promotes good relations throughout the City staff, Council and commissions. Major <br />goals for the;next year include continuing to improve and apply organizational skills; <br />staying caught up with writing meeting minutes; gaining computer training in advanced <br />wordprocessing techniques and Excel spreadsheets. <br /> <br /> <br />
