Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #96-08- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />AMENDMENT <br />BANK <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS AND BUDGET <br />FOR SIGN AGREEMENT WITH NORTHLAND SECURITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Northland Security Bank will be constructing a yard pylon sign on <br />T.H. g47 at 142nd Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Bank has proposed to construct a reader board as part of that sign <br />construction; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Bank has proposed dedicating 25% of the reader board time to City and <br />Community use upon agreement by the City that the City will dedicate funding toward completion <br />of the reader board portion of the sign; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Bank has committed in return to provide for all sign maintenance and <br />supplies, insurance, and all data entry and training for messages supplied by the City for a fifteen <br />year period. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council dedicate $15,000 from the Council Contingency fund in order to <br />fulfill the terms of the agreement contemplated pursuant to the above, <br /> <br />2) That the City Attorney be directed to provide such agreement pursuant to the above. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 27th day of August, 1996. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
