Mr. Wetterlind explained he would use the metal accessory building for recreational <br />purposes and he ¢411 be putting in a cement floor. Commissioner Deemer noted the m~tefial cost is the <br />same for the acc~sory structure to be built with the same type construction materials and exterior finiqh <br />as the principal sfi'ucture. Mr, Wetterlind stated his preference was a metal pole building. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner La]Due and seconded by Commissi~oner Thomd to recommend that City <br />Counca-I approve Brian W~eflind's request for a conditional use permit for an oversized metal accessory <br />building on less than 2.5 acres. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commigsioners LaDue, Thorud, Jensen, and Terry. <br />Voting No: Con~ssioner Deemer. Absent: Commissioner Holland. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer explained h/s opposition in thru he believes the design should be changed so the <br />structure has the ~iame exterior facing fi~sh as the principal stmctare. <br /> <br />Case//4: P,.equest for a Conditional Use Permit (Interim Use Permi0 for a Temporary <br /> Shncture; Case of Johnson tt'oldings, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning ,qrknini.qtmtor Sylvia t;rolik explained that John.qon Holdings, Inc., h~q submitted an application <br />for an interim use permit for a temporary modular structure in which to conduct bank business while the <br />permanent building is under construction. <br /> <br />Commissioner Jemam a_qked what the time factor was on the temporary facility. Kevin Johnson, P.O. Box <br />250, l_santi, stated {t would be used for four to six months. Commissioner Deemer asked how soon they <br />planned on using the temporary building. Mr. John.qon explained that they would like to start by the end <br />of the month. Co~mmissioner Jensen asked when construction wo~d start on the permanent structure. <br />Mr. Johnson state~ construction would start at the end of the month <br /> <br />The Planning Commission proceeded to review the l~indings of Fact <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner La_Due and seconded by Commissioner Jensen to accept #I through #8 as <br />presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
