Commissioner Deemer noted the material cost Ls the <br />same for the ~,Assory structure to be built with the same type construction materials and exterior flni~h <br />as the principal shucture. Mr. Wetterlind stated his preference was a metal pole building. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commis~oner Thorud to recommend that Oity <br />Council approve Brian Wettedind's request for a conctifional use permit for an oversized metal accessory <br />building on less ~than 2.5 acres. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commiqsioners LaDue, Thorud, J~zsen, and Terry. <br />Voting No: Commissioner Deemer. Absent: Commissioner Holland. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer explained his opposition in thai he believes the design should be changed so the <br />structure has the came exterior facing fin;~h as the principal stmctare. <br /> <br />Case//4: Request for a Conditional Use Permit ('Interim Ese Permit) for a Temporary <br /> Structure; Case of Johnson E[oldings, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Admini~t-ator Sylvia Frolik explained that John.qon Holdings, Inc., has submitted//n application <br />for an interim uselpermit for a tempormy modular stmctnre in which to conduct bank business while the <br />permanent building is under construction. <br /> <br />Commi.o-,sioner Yen;sen asked what the time factor was on the temporary facility. Kevin Johnson, P.O. Box <br />250, Isanti, stated'tit would be used for four to six months. Commissioner Deemer asked how soon they <br />planned on using ~e temporary building. Mr. Yohn.qon explained that they would like to start by the end <br />of the month. Commissioner Jensen asked when construction would start on the permanent slrac~e. <br />Mr. Johnson stated construction would start at the end of the monte <br /> <br />The Planning Commission proceeded to review the l:indings of Fact <br /> <br />Motion by Com~ssioner La.Due and seconded by Commissioner Jensen to accept #I through #8 as <br />presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
