' ........ <br /> <br />3.8 :Recommendations of the Gr;'up related to 'hiring a ~onsultant W~ll require agreement of a party <br /> prior to the party incurring any financial obligation. <br /> <br />4.2 <br /> <br />The Group shall have the following responsibilities during Phase I: <br /> <br />4.1.1 <br />4.1.2 <br />4.1.3 <br />4.1.4 <br />4.1.5 <br /> <br />4.1.6 <br /> <br />4.1.7 <br /> <br />to request and review consultant qualifications; <br />to request and review consultant proposals;' <br />to interview selected consultants; <br />to develop consultant work plan and costs; <br />to recommend to the governing bodies of the Cities and County Whether to have the <br />County contract with a consultant under the terms of this agreement; <br />to recommend a consultant to be engaged by the County under the terms of this <br />agreement; <br />to apply for funds from any source it may identify. <br /> <br />The Group shall have the following responsibilities during Phase It in addition to those set forth <br />in 4.1: <br /> <br />4.2.1 <br /> <br />4.2.2 <br />4.2.3 <br />4.2.4 <br /> <br />to provide guidance to the consultant in performing wellhead protection work <br />authorized in Phase II; <br />to review and reject or accept consultant work; <br />to approve payments authorized under this agreement; <br />to identify wellhead protection work activities to be performed during Phase III <br />including potential contaminant source inventory, management techniques, and <br />education and outreach; <br /> <br />//6 <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
