ORDINANCE # 9 6- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ~NOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />~N ORDINANCE IMPLEMENTING CHAPTER 8,6 OF THE RAMSEY CiTY C~%RTER. <br /> <br />The city of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />gECTION 1. AUT~ORIT~ <br /> <br />This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to the authority granted the <br />City Council by Section 12.12 of the Ramsey City Charter. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. PURPOSE AND_APPLICABILItY. <br /> <br />The purpose of this Ordinance is to provide uniform regulations to <br />carryout and make effective Section 8.6 of the City Charter. This <br />Ordinance applies to any residential improved property in the city, <br />which property has Urban Services (sewer and/or water) available to <br />it and which property has not been assessed for the benefit of said <br />Urban Services. <br /> <br />;~CTION 3. DEPINXTION9 <br /> <br />As used in this Ordinance, the following terms have the meanings <br />provided in this Section unless the context clearly requires <br />otherwise. <br /> <br />Sub~. <br /> <br />"Functional private sewer and water systems" means <br />a non-municipal on-site sewer system and water <br />system which complies with all City of Ramsey and <br />State of Minnesota health and pollution control <br />regulations. <br /> <br />Sub4. 2 <br /> <br />As used in Section 8.6.3 of the City Charter, the <br />term "original assessment" shall mean that the <br />initial assessment amount which would have been <br />assessed and levied against a property for a Local <br />Improvement Project which first extended Urban <br />Services (sewer and/or water) to said property. <br /> <br />Bubo]. 3 <br /> <br />As used in Section 8.6.3 of the City Charter, an <br />assessment which is "consistent with the original <br />assessment" is that amount which would be assessed <br />and levied against a property for a Local <br />Improvement Project which extended Urban Services <br />(sewer and/or water) to said property as if said <br />Urban Services were installed at the time the <br />property connects to the City's sewer and/or water <br />utilities <br /> <br /> <br />
