ORDINANCE $96-.__ CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 9.02 "DEFINITIONS"~ SECTION 9.11 "PERFORMANCE STANDARDS"~ a~d SUBSECTION 9.11.10 "OFF STREET PARKING- OF CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. THE CITY OF RAMSEY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. AMENDMENT ae Section 9.11.10 (Off Street Parking) is hereby amended to include the following: Subd 1. Inside Parking Permitted. In any Residential District, inside parking of licensed and/or unlicensed motor vehicles and equipment, commercial or private, shall be permitted. Subd. 2. Outside Parking Prohiited, With Exceptions. In any Residential District, outside parking of any motor vehicle or equipment shall be prohibited, EXCEPT as follows: Motor Vehicles. Currently licensed and operable private use motor vehicles or one unlicensed but operable motor vehicle may be parked in the front yard of a residential parcel provided the vehicle(s) is parked on a driveway. Said vehicles may also be parked on the side yard or rear yard only if parked on a Residential Parking Surface. Private Use Equipment. Private use equipment may be parked in the front yard of a residential parcel provided the equipment is parked on a driveway. Private use equipment may also be parked on the side yard or rear yard only if parked on a Residential Parking Surface. Commercial use Motor Vehicles and Equipment. Commercial use motor vehicles and equipment may be parked outside on residential parcels for short- term periods (8 hours or less) when rendering a service such as loading or unloading. Commercial vehicles and motor vehicles and equpiment may be parked outside on a routine or regular basis on residential parcels for %ong terms only under the following conditions: I I I I !
