I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Peraonnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Monday, September 9, 1996, at <br />the Ramsey Muaicipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br /> <br />Members Absenti Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite Smith <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Police Chief Auspos <br /> <br />1 <br />I <br /> <br />In Audience: <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br />Public Works Supervisor Merle Mevissen <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Waite Smith stated that Councilmember Beyer is unable to be <br />here tonight becduse of work and she originally suggested we cancel the Personnel Committee <br />meeting; howev61', we suggested we could take care of the volunteer fire fighter pay rates at the <br />very least. Her preference would be to discuss the other ~tems at a later meeung. <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin noted that Councilmember Beyer was not presented and inquired if the Road and <br />Bridge Committe~ conducted all of its cases to which Ms. Waite Smith replied yes. <br /> <br />Councilmember Beahen stated she would hate to see these issues put off again but felt that it could <br />be discussed as a.whole Council at the 7:00 meeting where Councilmember Beyer could then have <br />input. <br /> <br />Ms. Waite Smith' stated that Councilmember Beyer will not be at the City Council meeting either <br />and that she (Beyer) suggested discussion of these items two weeks from now. <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin stated he thought Councilmember Beyer was going to be at the regular Council <br />meeting also, butihe felt Council has to get moving on these things. <br /> <br />Councilmember t~eahen stated she respects the fact that Councilmember Beyer would like input but <br />does not feel the l~xempt Wages should be tabled again. <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin called the meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at 6:15 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Mayor Hardin to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin and Councilmember Beahen.
