I <br /> I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> The Ramsey Personnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, November 12, 1996, <br /> at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br /> Members Present: Mayor Glen Hardin <br /> Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br /> Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br /> Finance Officer Jesse Hart <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Counc'rlmember Beyer called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at 6:00 p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was none: <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE :BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: R~eport on Temporary Corporal Positions in Police Department <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder reported that Police Chief Auspos has been in the hospital and will be <br />on medical leave for six to eight weeks. Sergeant Gustafson is Acting Chief. In order to provide help <br />to Sergeant Gust~son with administrative duties, a temporary additional work assignment was posted <br />internally. Five Officers expressed an interest in the temporary added administrative duties. After <br />interviewing the fi~e applicants, it is recommended that Officers Kuhn and Way assume the temporary <br />added administrative duties. It was agreed that additional compensation for this work assigmnent <br />would be in the same amount as the current temporary Investigator work assignment. <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin asked how the various shift duties would be affected by this assignment and whether <br />this will mean two less officers in patrol cars. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder responded that Officers Kuhn and Way will be assigned to their regular <br />shifts as needed.
