L! <br /> <br />City Administ~'ator Schroeder answered that the inquiry letter that was sent to them requested a <br />response by NOvember 12, 1996. <br /> <br />Consensus to dk~ ect staffto contact those who did not respond by letter or phone call before the next <br />Council meeting. The Personnel Committee will meet briefly before the meeting to take appropriate <br />action on the remaining positions. <br /> <br />Case It3: End Probationary Period of Public Works Maintenance Worker <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that Mr. Duane Dordahl, Maintenance Worker, has completed <br />his six-month piobationary period with a satisfactory performance review. He recommended that Mr. <br />Dordahl's status become that of a full-time, regular City employee, retroactive to October 1, 1996. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen seconded by Mayor Hardin to recommend that Mr. Dordahl's <br />status become that of a full-time, regular City employee, retroactive to October 1, 1996. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Mayor Hardin asked if the City Administrator or Administrative Services <br />Manager reviewed the performance evaluation. City Administrator Schroeder answered, yes. <br />Councilmembe~ Beyer noted that when Mr. Dordahl was hired, his time was to be split between <br />public works and parks. She asked if Mr. Dordahl's supervisor should be both the Parks/Utilities <br />Supervisor and rl~Ublic Works Supervisor, rather than only the Parks/Utilities Supervisor as indicated <br />on the report. City Administrator Schroeder explained that Mr. Dordahl's primary duties are with <br />Parks/Utilities. <br /> <br />Motion carried, yoting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen and Beyer. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COMMiTTEEINPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Motion by CounCilmember Beahen and seconded by Mayor Hardin to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen and Beyer.
