10. The iAssistant Chief shall perform such other related work as Chief of Department <br /> mayidirect. <br /> <br />Section 18. Training Officer, Duties <br /> <br /> 1. The Training Officer shall be under the general direction of the Chief of Department <br /> and Assistant Chief. <br /> <br /> 2. The Training Officer shall be in command of the training for all members of the <br /> Depatt~ ment. <br /> <br /> 3. The Training Officer shall arrange a training schedule and shall attend and supervise <br /> such training sessions. <br /> <br /> 4. The Training Officer shall supervise the training and instruction of the members of <br /> the Department in all subjects covered at the Department training session. <br /> <br /> 5. The ~'raining Officer shall maintain all records pertaining to the training for ali <br /> members of the Department. <br /> <br /> 6. The Training Officer shall maintain progress reports in accordance with Section 9 of <br /> the A~plication for Membership Requirements. <br /> <br />Section 19. C~ptains, Duties <br /> <br /> 1. They ~hall be under the direct supervision of the Chief or Assistant Chief. <br /> <br /> 2. They ;shall be in command when Chief or Assistant Chief are not at fires and other <br /> emergencies. <br /> <br /> 3. They shall assume active command and be responsible for the extinguishment of all <br /> fires df which they are in command. <br /> <br /> 4. They shall enforce the rules and regulations and orders of the Department. <br /> <br /> 5. They ,hall report through the regular channels the inefficiency of any member due to <br /> disease, injury or other reasons. <br /> <br /> 6. They shall, at all times, maintain due regard for the safety and welfare of the <br /> personnel under their command. <br /> <br /> 7. They ~hall see that reasonable economy in the use of supplies and equipment is <br /> practi~ed and that undue waste is avoided. <br /> <br />Page 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
