Monthly Status Report <br /> <br />Complete <br /> <br />Complete <br /> <br />12/12/95 <br /> <br />12/12/95 <br /> <br />Council voted to approve the Planning Commission's proposal for <br />regulations regarding parking and storing vehicles and equipment in <br />the residential districts and to direct City Staff to schedule a public <br />hearing regarding same at the regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission in January 1996. Mayor Hardin did express a couple of <br />concems which are as follows: He said we need definitions but also <br />some language that cross references with Chapter 5. Also, what areas <br />these can be stored on. He asked that the City Attorney comment on <br />commercial use in Chapter 5 as that issue will come. Another concern <br />is that someone will read this to say it's an open door to everything. <br />You replied that "we want to address this to a sole proprietor - make <br />sure it doesn't give someone a right to run a track terminal from their <br />home. <br /> <br />Place review of the comp plan on the January Council meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
