' ' CASE # ~ <br />REVIEWi PROPOSED ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTERS 5 AND 9 OF <br />RA~SEY CITY CODE REGARDING PARKING AND STORING <br />VE~IICLES AND EQUIPMENT IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Backgroul~d: <br /> <br />For severallmonths, the Planning Commi.~sion has been working to draft an ordinance to <br />amend the ~2ity Code to make provisions for parking and storing commercial vehicles in <br />Residential ~stricts. <br /> <br />ObservatiOns: <br /> <br />The ordinaqcc draft w~ scheduled for public hearings on January 2 and January 10, 1996. <br />A copy of ~e ordinance draft is enclosed. <br /> <br />NotificatiOn: <br /> <br />All persons{attending the various workshops and meetings on the parking and storing of <br />commercialivehicles were notified of the public hearings. The hearing was also advertised <br />in the gam.~y Resident newsletter and in the Anoka Union. The hearing minutes from <br />January 2 at~e also enclosed for the Commission's information.' <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff reCOmmends that the Planning Commission review comments received at the <br />public hear~ g and direct staff to incorporate any changes determined necessary into the <br />ordinance dPaft.
