CASE # 9 <br /> <br /> T.H. #47 CORRIDOR STUDY <br />By: Steve Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: ' <br /> <br />In the fall of 199~, the City initiated a Corridor Study along T.H. g47 south of 167th Avenue. The <br />purpose of this ~t.udy included: (a) determining the extent of current traffic operations, problems <br />and possible solqtions, (b) providing to the needs of the City by developing an access management <br />plan and ultimat{ roadway design, and (c) developing a planning time table. <br /> <br />Attached is a dra~ of the T.H.g.47 Corridor Study. It is the intention that this document, as it is <br />ultimately accep~ by the City Council, will become a part of the City's comprehensive plan. <br />Future developrflents and site plans would be reviewed for conformity to this plan. <br /> <br />A public hearingwas held before the City Council on March 12, 1996. A copy of the minutes are <br />attached to this cltse. The consulting engineer has been directed to respond to these comments.
