[Revised 5/2/95, Ordinance No. <br /> 1529] ~ <br /> <br /> 11-18i28 MDjor Recreational E. quipmeDt. <br /> <br /> (1) ~ Definitiono Major recreational equipment shall include, <br /> but not b~ limited to: travel trailers, converted busses, coaches, <br /> pickup ca~pers, campers, motorized dwellings, race cars, and dune <br /> buggies, i It shall not include vehicles which are used <br /> predominabtly for domestic or employment-related transportation. <br /> <br /> (2) i Standards.. Major recreational equipment in a residential <br /> district ~hall conform to the following standards: <br /> <br /> (~) No major recreational vehicle shall be used for <br /> living, sleeping, or hou~mkeeping purposes on the premises, <br /> excep~ that one (1) major recreational vehicle shall be allowed <br /> for o~casional living purposes to accommodate visitors. <br /> (~) No major recreational equipment shall be stored on a <br /> publi~ street right-of-way. <br /> (~) Major recreational equipment stored outside shall be <br /> in a ~ondition for the safe and effective performance of its <br /> intended function or it shall be repaired to put such equipment <br /> in sqch condition. Equipment being repaired shall not be <br /> stored longer than 20 days. [Revised 09/01/92, Ordinance No. <br /> 1428]' <br /> (~) There shall be no more than two (2) major recreational <br /> vehickes per residential dwelling unit. <br /> <br /> 11-18~9 Number of Vehicles, <br /> <br /> (1) ~'he number of vehi.cles on a residential parcel may exceed <br />by only ~¥o (2) the number of persons with valid drivers licenses <br />residing ~n the premises. The following vehicles shall be exempted <br />from thisirequirement: <br /> <br /> (a) Temporary visitor parking. <br /> (b) ~Major recreational vehicles. <br /> (c) 'A maximum of two (2) collector vehicles registered as <br /> pioneer, classic, collector or street rod vehicles. The <br /> collector plates must be displayed on the vehicle. <br /> (d) iTrailers, trucks, and other vehicles used in loading, <br /> unloading, maintenance, or construction on the premises. <br /> (e) ~Two- (2) or three- (3) wheeled vehicles. <br /> <br /> (2) I% shall be illegal to park or store or permit to be parked <br />or stored~any vehicle on undeveloped residential property. This <br />provision!shall not apply to vehicles used in conjuntion with City <br />approved ~rojects. [Revised 09/01/92, Ordinance No. 1428] <br /> <br /> <br />
