Mr. Schwartzman replied that it would be behind the building, so it will be screened from public <br />view. <br /> <br />With regard to #5, Mr. Schwartzman discussed the importance of having the pup trailers to load <br />the dross (ash). <br /> <br />With regards to g9 and #I0 (fire lanes and contingency action plan), Mr. Schwartzman stated he <br />would do whatever is required to comply with these items. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commi.qsioner Holland to direct Staff to rmke <br />the changes to the CUP as discussed and bring this back to the next regular meeting of the <br />Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thomd. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #9: Request for Site Plan Review for an Expansion to Alloy Recovery <br /> Company <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Fmlik reported that Alloy Recovery Company has applied for site plan <br />approval of a 9,000 square foot expansion to their existing aluminum processing facility for the <br />purpose of getting more of the site operations indoors. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer saw no proNem with sending this to City Council contingent upon the <br />applicant's compliance with their conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik felt it appropriate to send both the conditional use permit case and the site plan to <br />Council at the same time. <br /> <br />Upon inquiry, applicant Jon Schwartzman stated he had no objections to the Staff Review Letter. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to table action on this <br />case until it comes back with the conditional use permit case at the next regular meeting of the <br />Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Holland, LaDue, Deemer, <br />Terry, and Thom& Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #gA: Request for Sketch Plan Review of the Proposed Resubdivision of <br /> Bury and Carlson Property <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski reported that Staff has been negotiating with Bury and Carlson to <br />purchase fight-of-way for the future expansion of Jaspar Street to McKinley Street. The City has <br />agreed to create a 30-foot parcel adjacent to Foster Cemetery. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Planning Commission was that the sketch plan of the proposed resubdivsion of <br />Bury and Carlson Property is acceptable. <br /> <br />Case #10: Monthly Status Report <br /> <br />This information was noted. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/March 4, 1996 <br /> Page 14 of 15 <br /> <br /> <br />
