3. If possible, term limits are a good idea. <br />4. Not necessarily. If terms are indicated, I'd recommend up to 4 or 5 consecutive terms <br />with one year offprior to reapplying. Yes, but I would recommend that commission members be allowed to serve at least <br />five years. It usually takes a good year before new members feel comfortable. <br />3. In one respect, it may be good to get new ideas and ideals, but on the other hand, it's <br />also good for consistency in following progress and plans. <br />3. Yes. <br />4. I do not think that all members should continue on forever. However, because it takes <br />awhile to understand everything with the charter, there is a need for longevity on the <br />commission. As it is working now with commissioners leaving and joining the Charter <br />Commission, it has seemed to be just right. <br /> <br />6.
