Mayor Hardin sm[ed that the City is looking at enticing the corridor. <br />Fee the City just ' ..~nplemented could be a possible funding source. <br /> <br />The Transportation Impact <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer inquired if the letter from the County Engineer will be implemented and <br />taken care of in the study. <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowsld assured her it would be. <br />Mr. Eyler reitemtkd that the comments received from the County Engineer were of a technical <br />nature. ~ <br /> <br />Councilmember Zlimmerman commented that before the City started the study of g47, the State had <br />suggested there v/gs no money to do it. Now that the City got it going, with the County as a major <br />player, turn lanes have become part of the plan. <br /> <br />Councilmember Beahen stated that CounciI is taking this study very seriously especially because of <br />the accident history. <br /> <br />Motion by Counailmember Beyer and seconded by Council_member Beahen to direct SRF to <br />prepare responses!to the comments made by the public and the reviewing agencies. <br />Motion carried. :;Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beyer, Beahen, Peterson and <br />Zimmerman.
