CASE <br /> <br /> REQUEST FOR SKETCH PLAN APPROVAL OF <br />BUSINESS PARK 95 3RD ADDITION; CASE OF CITY OF RAMSEY <br />By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City of Ramscy is in the process of platting two more lots in Business Park 95 to <br />accommodate the new faciities for Barkela Manufacturing and Capco. The area to be platted is <br />proposed to be subdivided into 2 industrial lots for development and 2 outlots for future <br />development. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your review: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br /> <br />Site location map <br />Proposed sketch plan <br />City Staff review letter dated August 28, 1996 <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The lots will receive public access from McKinley Street N.W. <br /> <br />Both of the lots meet the one acre minimum area requirement. Lot I, Block 1 is 10 feet deficient of <br />the requirement for 200 feet of frontage on a public road and should be modified accordingly. <br /> <br />A grading and drainage plan was provided with the site plan for the Barkela facility on Lot 1, <br />Block 1. The development plan for Lot 1, Block 2 will likewise include a grading and drainage <br />plan. <br /> <br />The plat will be reviewed by the Park Commission at their regular meeting in September for park <br />dedication requirements. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends sketch plan approval. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Recommend that City Council grant sketch plan approval to Business Park 95 3rd <br />Addition. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: City Engineer <br /> <br />PC: 9/3/96 <br /> <br /> <br />
