POLICY FOR SEALED BID PROCESS <br /> <br />1. Sealedbids are received at the front desk of Administrative Services. <br /> <br />2. Sealed bids are date stamped at the Administrative Services Desk. <br /> <br />3. Sealed bids are placed in the safe by a member of Administrative Services. <br /> <br />At the specified time and date of the sealed bid opening, Administrative Services <br />gets them from the safe and delivers them to the person opening the bids. <br /> <br />5. Sealed bid opening takes place in public, Council Chambers if available. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />At the :designated deadline for the submission of bids, the person responsible for <br />openiffg bids will declare the time for submission has passed. An offer will be <br />made tO those in attendance if they wish to withdraw a submission prior to any bids <br />being opened. The bid opener will open each envelope, read aloud the amount of <br />the bid, declare whether the bid has been properly signed, and whether the required <br />bid borld has been attached. <br /> <br />7. Immediately after all sealed bids are opened, the information is given to <br /> Administrative Services to compile. <br /> <br />Policy currently in place. Place in Policy Manual November 28, 1994. <br /> <br /> <br />
