I892 Describe existing feantre and its condition: The original flooring was covered with linoleum in a pattern that appears to be from de 1960's. This linoleum would be moved and the underlying ~ood floor would then be restored. The floor currently slants .dram~cally to one side. Interior [ Approximate date of feature 1892 multiple tmdate$ Describe existing feature and its condition: The original interior !has received normal maintenance such a~ painting, However,! there has also been some remodeling completed throughout the years. The original woodwork and some furnishings arq still intact. These furnishings include blackboards and desks~ The remodeling includes the addition of a kitchen area and restro0m when the structare was used as the tom hall. N bet Amhitecmrallfeature Ceiline Approximateldate of feature_ Describe existing feature and its condition: 1892 Parts of the existing tir~..-stamped ceiling have deteriorated due to the leaks in the roof. T~he remainder of the ceiling appears to be in good condition. Photo No. 4.5.6.7i Drawing No. . The existing linoleum would be removed and the underlyi: wood floors would be restored to original condition. This m require removal of the damaged sections of floor or ref'misking salvageable sections. The removal of the linoleum floor m~ cause some problems as the adhesive used may require speci handling. The floor joists wilt also be inspected at the time ti building's foundation is replaced to determine any improvemen that need to be done. Describe work and impact on existing feature: The City will be removing the added kitchen facilities and repla, the original coat rooms that were located on either side of th~ entryway. The City will also be updating the wiring and heatinl systems to meet current building requirements. The heatinl system will be designed to approximate the original wood stove heating system but will allow for use of new technologies tc improve its efficiency. The original blackboards and woodwork will also be restored along with furnishings that would fit the Describe work and impact on existing feature: The ceiling would be restored after the leaks in the roof are repaired. This would result in the damaged sections being replaced and the sections in good repair would be restored to original condition.
