Nybeck stated that the location of the ball field is of no advantage to the school; they are <br />s~Iy attempting to put the ball field near the parking area. <br /> <br />C°mmissioner Hendriksen stressed the importance of mitigating the concerns of the residents in <br />th~ area. He suggested the applicant consider pun/.ng in scrme sizeable pine trees in the area as a <br />natural buffer. <br /> <br />U1/on a suggestion by one of the citizens, Mr. Nybeck agreed to take into consideration designing <br />th~park/ng lot more perpendicular to the school, possibly making the bail field more feasible. He <br />~ed that tiffs would make the drop-off area better atm. <br /> <br />/vl~fion by Commissioner Deemer to recommend City Council grant final plat approval to the site <br />pl~ for the expansion of Ramsey Elementary School contingent upon City Council review, City <br />St~ Review Letter, d/scussion on modifications of site plan, intersection lighting added to the site <br />pl~ at the accesses, and the modified site plan being brought back to the public hearing for <br />rezoning. <br /> <br />C6mmissioner LaDue stated the mot/on Was inappropriate, exp!ai~ng that City Council will review <br />tt,.~ site plan, but at that point the Planning Commission.is out of it. <br /> <br />C~mmissioner Deemer withdrew his motion.
