The elementary school will be <br />expanded to approximately double its current size. <br /> <br />Please fred enelo ;ed a sketch illustrating the approximate routes for the utility extensions. Below <br />is some addifion~.l information to assist you with your proposal. A thirty-inch sanitary sewer <br />interceptor needs[ to be constructed at an approximate depth of 20 to 25 feet through and along a <br />DNR protected ~efland for a distance of approximately 4,300 feet. In addition, 3,400 feet of <br />eight-inch and 2,qO0 feet of twelve-inch watermain needs to be constructed along a separate route, <br />the majority of Ivhieh will be located within the right-of-way of a County Highway. The <br />watermain will allo be fled into an existing main by jacking beneath the county road. <br /> <br />The school site layout is somewhat tentative at the time of this proposal. The consultants will need <br />to coordinate efforts with the school district and their engineers to determine the exact service <br />requirements and hfility locations within the development parcel. <br />BASIC SERVICRs <br />The consultant sh~ provide the following basic engineering services: <br />· Prepare plan's hnd specifications for the extension of sanitary sewer and watermaln. <br />· Identify and p~pare legal descriptions for easements required outside dedicated rights-of-way. <br />· ' Prepare all n~essary permit applications for the construction of the project, including County <br /> Highways, De[partment of N.atural Resources (wetland construction and water appropriations), <br /> Water Manag{ment Organization, and Army Corps of Engineers. <br />· Prepare necessary submittal information to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, the <br /> Department oflHealth and Metropolitan Council Wastcwater Division. <br />· Prepare final ,dost estimate. <br />· Solicit and obfain bids. <br />· Confer with dty representatives and representatives of Anoka-Hcnne~in School District #11 to <br /> finalize mutin~,'ca~ements, and service requirements. '~ <br />· If necessary, n~,ct with thrcc landowners from whom casements will need to be obta/ncd. <br />· Provide projed$ observation by a registered professional engineer. <br />· Review shop drawings, change orders, prepare and certify payment requests. <br /> <br />Zo5 <br /> <br /> <br />
