I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I SECTION 130.1211 DENIAL, SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION OF LICENSE Any license under this Chapter may be denied, suspended, or revoked for any of the following reasons: (a) (b) (c) (d) (e) (0 The use conflicts with the Ramsey Zoning Code; The use conflicts with any health, building, building maintenance or provisions of this code of ordinance or state law; The applicant has failed to comply with one or more provisions of this Chapter;, Fmueh misrepresentation, or bribery in securing a license; F~'aud, misrepresentation or false statements made in the course of the applicant's b~siness; ~iolafion, within the preceding five years, of any law relating to theft, damage or trespass to property, sale of a controlled substance, or operation of business. SECTION 2. PENALTY. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shallibe punished by a fine of not more than Seven Hundred Dollars ($700.00) or imprisonment fo/: not more than Ninety (90) days or both. SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and thirty (30) days after its publication according to law~ subject to City Charter Provision, Section 5.04. SECTION 4. i~ORDINANCE PUBLICATION SUMMARY. The following official summary of Ordinance g90-15 has been approved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey ~ clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of said Ordinance, to wit: It is the intent and ~ffect of Ordinance g90-15 to require licenses for pawnbrokers and secondhand goods dealers, b~th of which are defined in the ordinance. The Ordinance further provides for a nonrefundable iavestigation fee and annual license fee. The Ordinance further provides for an application proc~ure, requires each licensee to keep and maintain certain records and requkes that said records be trade available in police department inspections. A printed copy o~.the full text of Ordinance g90-15 is available for inspection by any person at the City Municipal C~enter.
