On January 24, 1995, the Ramsey City Council authorized the solicitation of sealed bids t~)r a commercial turf mower with a 12' cutting path. Bids were solicited and received and op~ned at the Municipal Center on Friday, February 17, 1995. Two bids were ~eceived and opened at the time specified in the bid packet. It had been requested that each vend~r supply a bid for both a new and demonstration mower meeting the City's specifications. ~he following summarizes the bids received: New Demo Nprth Star Turf Inc. $32,597.00 No bid [l~b~ddWest Specialty Sales $25,900.00 $24,400.00 [34 hrs] amounts do not include 6.5% sales tax] The demonstration model bid by Midwest Specialty Sales meets (tll of the requirements specified by the City.
