Ramsey Mummpal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Glen Hardin (arrived approximately 6:12 p.m.) <br /> Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br /> Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at <br />6:04 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INpuT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The following eases were added to the agenda: <br /> <br />Case #3: <br />Case <br /> <br />AFSCME <br />Ratify Action of Police Chief Relating to the Hiring of a Police Officer <br /> <br />Motion by Coun~cflmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the <br />agenda as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Beahen and Beyer. Voting No: None. <br />Absent: Mayor Hardin. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Police Chief Wages <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder reported that in early January, City Council ratified wages of <br />the Exempt Persoianel with the exception of setting aside an additional amount of money <br />relating to the wages for the Police Chief. <br /> <br />Police Chief Ausgos reported that some of the cities Ramsey is being compared to, with <br />regard to Police Chief wages, have more personnel and many more supervisors; therefore, <br />dividing up the workload. He added that he does not want his department to become a <br />heavily supervised~one and that he is holding onto the request for wages of $59,701. <br /> <br /> Personnel Committee/February 14, 1995 <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
