He stated there
are no crack~ in the road and inquired how to get off the list of being assessed for it. He
realizes that ~e cannot change the placement of the road but, in his opinion he never uses it
and should not be assessed for it.

Mr. Jankowski stated that the road was built in 1990 and has never been sealed. There are
cracks in the ~Oad - small ones - however, if they are left, they will get larger.

Mr. Simpson Stated he walked the road and there are no cracks.

Mr. Jankowski stated he has also walked the road and there are indeed cracks in it.

Mr. Simpson ~tated he doesn't see anything wrong with the road and wants to know why
he is being ch~ged for it when he is next to it, not on it.

Mr. Jankowskl explained that Mr. Simpson has frontage onto Nowthen Boulevard N.W.
and a side y~d adjacent to the street. The Road and Bridge Committee, earlier this
evening, discussed the assessment procedure, particularly comer lots. The Committee
requested mord time to review the procedures. Whatever is decided, the assessment roles
wall be declded;,accordingly.

Mr. Simpson again stated that he should not be assessed because he does not use the road.

Mayor Hardin ~losed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:20 p.m. in order
to conduct the gublic hearings.

Public Hearing

Improvement Project g95-01 - River's Bend 1st, 2nd, and Plaza Additions

Mayor Hardin called the public hearing to order at 7:20 p.m.

Citizen Input

None

Motion by Coun¢ilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to close the
public hearing.

Motion carried.
