BUsiness <br /> <br />District § 9.20.21 <br /> <br />B-1 Business District. <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. Intent: The purpose of the B-l, Business District is to provide <br /> <br />for areas of commercial development which accommodate shopper type goods and services as <br />conwasted to auto oriented highway commercial activities. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. <br />standar~ as specified by <br /> <br />f. <br /> <br />g. <br /> <br />h. <br /> <br />i. <br />j. <br /> <br />Permitted Uses: (Subject to general requirements and performance <br />this chapter.) <br /> <br />Retail business. <br /> <br />Eating and drinking establishments. <br />Offices and banks. <br /> <br />Personal and professional services. <br /> <br />Commercial car washes (drive through, mechanical, self service) <br /> <br />Funeral homes. <br /> <br />Medical clinics. <br /> <br />Animal clinics. <br /> <br />Day care centers. <br /> <br />Adult uses-accessory. <br /> <br />Other uses may be permitted upon obtaining a conditional use permit. <br /> <br />No use Which discharges non-domestic sewage shall be permitted on a property which is not <br />served bY sanitary sewer and municipal water unless it can be demonstrated to the satisfaction of <br />the City,at such discharge will have proper containment. No use that discharges large quantities <br />of domestic sewage shall be permitted on a property which is not served by sanitary sewer or <br />municipal water unless it can be demonstrated to the satisfaction of the City that there will be an <br />adequate amount of soil absorption area or soil treatment area. <br /> <br /> Subd. 3. Accessory UseS: <br /> <br /> ~ a. Commercial or business buildings and structures for a use accessory to <br /> ~ the principal use but such use shall not exceed 30% of the gross floor <br /> space of the principal use unless otherwise approved by the Council. <br /> <br /> b. Off-street parking including semi-trailer trucks, as regulated and <br /> required by this chapter. <br /> ? c. Off-street loading as regulated and required by this chapter. <br /> ~ d. Signing as regulated by §9. t2. <br /> e. Open and outdoor storage, sales, service or rental, not to exceed I0% of <br /> ~ the parcel area and not to exceed an area equivalent to the area of the <br /> ~ main floor of the principal structure. <br /> ~i Subd. 4.
