Councilmember <br /> <br /> : RESOLUTION ~P95-05- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #95-11 (CONSTRUCTION OF <br />PARK 95 PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS) <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> CONTRACT FOR <br />RAMSEY BUSINESS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution #95-03-057 authorized the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> ~i WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of Uranium <br />Street and McKinley Street and the extension of sanitary sewer and municipal water services, bids <br />were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the following quotes were received: <br /> <br />Bidder <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> <br /> J WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for berm planting on Uranium Street, <br />bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following quotes were received: <br /> <br />Bidder <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br /> <br />Midwest Landscapes <br />Countryview Nursery <br />Shades of Green Landscaping <br />Steve's Elk River Nursery <br /> <br />Engineer's Estimate <br /> <br />$ 9,928.93 <br />$10,000.00 <br />$10,995.00 <br />$18,465.00 <br /> <br />$10,000.00 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Countryview Nursery is the lowest responsible bidder <br />in that it most closely meets the requested specifications. <br /> <br />NOw THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />I); That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contract with in the name of the City of Ramsey for the construction of <br /> ~ Uranium Street and McKinley Street and the extension of sanitary sewer and municipal <br /> water services in the amount of .. <br /> <br />2)} That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contract with Countryview Nursery in the name of the City of Ramsey for the berm <br /> planting on Uranium Street in the amount of $I0,000.00. <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I' <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
