Steffen. <br />Substitution of personnel may be undertaken with prior approval from the City. <br /> <br />All services rendered pursuant to this Letter Agreement which involve decisions to undertake <br />court procedures, actual court appearances, legal opinions or interpretation decisions which are <br />within the authorit~ of the City Attorney will be brought to the attention of and discussed with <br />the City Attorney. Final judgment on legal interpretations and decisions to proceed with legal <br />process shall remain with the City Attorney, unless such responsibility is delegated to us by the <br />appropriate authority. <br /> <br />Fees for services rendered under this Letter Agreement shaI1 be due and payable within thirty <br />(30) days followi~ig receipt of monthly billings, which will itemize time expended, services <br />rendered, and necessary expenses incurred. <br /> <br />The fee schedule for services is as follows: <br /> <br />AttOrneys for the Firm on matters other than interest or <br />grievance arbitrations and litigation ................... $105/hour <br /> <br />AttOrneys for the Firm on interest or grievance arbitrations <br />and :litigation ................................. $125/hour <br /> <br />· Paralegal, law clerks, data research .................... $65/hour <br /> <br />This fee schedule Shall not be increased prior to January 1, 1996, and then only after thirty (30) <br />days notice to the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Charges for necessary expenses incurred in travel, lodging, meals, and long distance telephone <br />calls will be payable by the City. No separate charges will be made for clerical services, <br />printing, or publication costs except in those instances (as a matter of convenience) that the City <br />requests copies orI printing in excess of ten (10) copies of individual items. In such case, <br />charges will be bal~ed on the cost of production incurred by the law firm. <br /> <br /> <br />
