Additional costs include a Water Availability Charge (WAC) of $1,250 incurred at the time of connection to defray the depreciation costs of the municipal water system. In addition, a Sewer Availability Charge (SAC) of $950 is collected at the time of connection by the City and is paid to the Metropolitan Council WasteWater Services to finance the installation of major interceptor sewers which service the MetroPOlitan Area.
