Coordinatio~ and maintenance responsibility for police records and all other police clerical <br /> functions. <br />B. Primary receptionist for both phone calls and walk-ins. <br />C. Serve as prin lary base station radio communicator with patrol units and investigators afield <br />D. Perform oth~.r duties as assigned (within the ability and resources of the Records Manager) <br /> at the verbal ~r written direction of the Police Supervisor(s) or City Adminislrator. <br /> <br />TASKS RELATED TO RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> <br />A. Coordination and maintenance responsibility for police records and all other police clerical <br /> functions. <br /> 1. Responsible for timely and accurate documentation of information received on calls <br /> for serCice. <br /> 2. Initiate; and complete a variety of complaint reports and perform follow-up within <br /> pararnqters of expertise, on those repons. <br /> 3. Classify ali calls for service and offense repons per department/State guidelines as to <br /> codes. <br /> 4. Transcn ibc officers reports and correspondence from tape to paper and collate repons <br /> for offi :er review. <br /> 5. Admin .ster the release of accident and other police reports in response to in-person <br /> and mz il requests. <br /> 6. Procest gun permits, issue bow hunting permits, process criminal history requests <br /> and col .apile background and/or confidential information for criminal justice agencies. <br /> 7. Peffon and is responsible for a variety of computer inquiries, entries and messages <br /> to Stat4 and Federal agencies. <br /> Primary receptionist for both phone calls and walk-ins. <br /> 1. Handl{calls received at the police department. <br /> 2.
