about getting "Slow" signs and he has been told that the signs are not allowed; however,
there is a "Watch for Pedestrian" sign by LeTourneaus.

Mr. Jankowski stated that the City does have a policy about signs and he feels the "slow"
signs are ineffective. If we get into "Watch for Children" signs, we will have to just issue
them at request. He again summarized the'options he presented earlier.
He then inquired what will transpire from this.

Eouncilmember Zimmerman informed him that this will come before the City Council and
~hey may look at temporarily closing 171 st.

Mr. Dusbabek expressed his appreciation and also apologized if he seems to be pointing
blame.

Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to
~recommend that Council vote to temporarily close off 171st Avenue at Bison Street until
Bison Street connects with Trott Brook Ridge.

~Motion carried.
