Members Presenti Also Present: Mayor Glen Hardin Councilmember Carolyn Beahen Councilmember Sheila Beyer Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman City Administrator Ryan Schroeder Finance Officer Jessie Hart CALL TO ORDER Councilmember Beyer called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at 6:18 p.m. CITIZEN INPUT None APPROVE AOENDA City Administrator Schroeder asked to add an item entitled Joint and Cooperative Agreement for uae of Fire Personnel and Equipment between the Governing Bodies in Anoka County ~ Motion by Mayoi' Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to approve the agenda as amended. ~ Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. CONSENT AGENDA None COMMITTEE I BUSINESS: Case #1: Finance Department Vacancy City Administrator Schroeder suggested replacing the Finance position and putting the Assistant to the (lity Administrator position on hold for three months, perhaps longer. Mr. Schroeder also suggested adding risk management and benefits to the Finance position. Finance Officer Hart explained that risk management and benefits is an after the fact process. It is not~ an increased responsibility - it's one more task and not an escalation of I · duties. She also ,xplmned that with the new computer system, as it pertains to data entry, we will not be dbuble entering things. We will save a lot of time.
