Nowthen Boulevard <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br />RE: Construction Bids for Ramsey Trunk Sanitary Sewer & Watermain <br />Improvement Project 95 -13 <br />Dear Steve: <br />Eight bids were received and opened at 2:00 p.m. on June 23, 1995 for <br />the above referenced project. The bids ranged from a low of $729,575.75 <br />to a high of 1,063,101.10. The three lowest bids were as follows: <br />Contractor Total Bid <br />Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. $729,575.75 <br />Northdale Construction Co., Inc. 776,657.54 <br />D.H. Blattner & Sons, Inc. 863,574.85 <br />The Engineer's estimated construction cost based upon the final plans <br />was $754,000. The bid cost reflects a 3.2% decrease from the final plan <br />cost estimate. <br />The low bidder, Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. has satisfactorily completed <br />similar work.
