CASE # , <br />INTRODUCE PROPOSED ORDINANCE VACATING DRAINAGE & UTILITY <br />EASEMENTS HAT WERE DEDICATED WITH RAMSEY 67 INDUSTRIAL <br />PARK 2ND ADDITION <br />By: James Gromberg, Economic Development Coordinator <br />Background: <br />As you are aware, tie City is completing the platting of the Business Park 95 Addition. This <br />subdivision is comI rised of the recently purchased industrial property that was a part of the <br />Ramsey 67 Industrial Park 2nd Addition. With the original platting of this property the City <br />acquired the traditio ` 10 -foot wide drainage and utility easements. These easements will now run <br />through the interior df the newly created lots with the Business Park 95 Addition. The City will be <br />rededicating the 1044 of easements around each of the newly created lots. <br />Notification: <br />Since the City owns 01 of the affected property, and the 10 -foot easements around the exterior of <br />the property will n t change, none of the surrounding property owners have been notified. <br />Enclosed for your review is the following information: <br />1) Public hearing notice <br />2) Site 1 ation map <br />3) Map showing area to be vacated <br />4) Propoied ordinance vacating drainage and utility easements. <br />If this proposed ordnance is adopted, the City will record the vacation so that deeds for the <br />affected properties w'l reflect the vacation. <br />I <br />Recommendation: <br />The City Staff recommends vacation of the drainage and utility easements described as follows: <br />The drainage and �tility easements described as follows: <br />The South aid East 10.00 feet of Lot 1 and the South and East 10.00 feet of Lot 2, all in <br />Block 1, RMSEY 67 INDUSTRIAL PARK SECOND ADDITION, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota, a cording to the record plat thereof. <br />Council Action: <br />r <br />Motion to introduce dinance #95 -_ authorizing vacation of the drainage and utility easements <br />dedicated along the S' uth and East 10.00 feet of Lot 1 and the South and East 10.00 feet of Lot 2, <br />all in Block 1, RAMSEY 67 INDUSTRIAL PARK SECOND ADDITION, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota, accordingto the record plat thereof. <br />Reviewed By: <br />City Administrator <br />City Engineer <br />Economic Development Coordinator <br />CC:06/27/95 <br />1'2 1 <br />
