f <br />' 2.4 Vacandies: A vacancy on the Organization shall be <br />filled by the governing body of the party whose membership <br />position on theiOrganization is vacant. <br />Z.5 Additional Member,,s The Organization may, with the <br />' ratification of'the governing bodies of all voting members of the <br />Organization, invite other units of government within the Rum <br />River Watershed�to also become parties to this Agreement. The <br />i governing body of such additional party shall appoint a member to <br />the Organization who shall have voting rights in accordance <br />the provisions Of Section 2.2, and in all respects thenceforth <br />i <br />enjoy the full rights, duties, and obligations of this Agreement. <br />2.6 Compensation and Expenses The Organization members <br />shall not be entitled to compensation or reimbursement for <br />expenses incurred in attending meetings, except to the extent <br />that the governing body of a party might determine to compensate <br />or reimburse the expenses of the member it appoints, in which <br />case the obligation to make such payments shall be that of the <br />party and not that of the Organization. <br />2.7 Officers The Organization shall elect from its <br />membership a chair, a vice - chair, a secretary and a treasurer and <br />such other officers as it deems necessary to reasonably carry out <br />' the oses ur oC this•A reement. All such officers shall hold <br />P P g <br />' office for a term of one year and until their successors have <br />been elected by the Organization. An officer may serve only <br />I while a member bf the Organization and may be re- elected to an <br />office.
