! <br />! <br /> <br /> CASE # ~.O <br />ADOPT P~OPOSED ORDINANCE VACATING DRAINAGE & UTILITY <br />EASEMENTS THAT WERE DEDICATED WITH RAMSEY 67 INDUSTRIAL <br />PARK 2ND ADDITION <br /> Bye' James Gromberg, Economic Development Coordinator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you are awar~e, the City is completing the platting of the Business Park 95 Addition. This <br />subdivision is cqmprised of the recently purchased industrial property that was a part of the <br />Ramsey 67 Industrial Park 2nd Addition. With the original platting of this property the City <br />acquired the traditional 10-foot wide drainage and utility easements. These easements will now run <br />through the interi~br of the newly created lots with the Business Park 95 Addition. The City will be <br />rededicating the 10-foot easements around each of the newly created lots. <br /> <br />Council introduced the ordinance vacating certain dedicated drainage and utility easements. <br /> <br />Noti fica ti on: <br /> <br />Since the City oOns all of the affected property, and the 10-foot easements around the exterior of <br />the property will riot change, none of the surrounding property owners have been notified. <br /> <br />Enclosed for your review is the following information: <br /> <br />1) Proposed ,Ordinance vacating drainage and utility easements. <br /> <br />If this proposed Ordinance is adopted, the City will record the vacation so that deeds for the <br />affected Propertied will reflect the vacation. <br /> <br />Such ordinance is'before you for formal adoption. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The City Staff recommends vacation of the drainage and utility easements described as follows: <br /> <br /> The drainage ~d utility easements described as follows: <br /> <br /> The East 1~0 feet of Lot 1, Block 1, Ramsey 67 Industrial Park Second Addition. <br /> The South110 feet of Lot 1, Block 1, Ramsey 67 Industrial Park Second Addition. <br /> The East 1~0 feet of Lot 2, Block 1, Ramsey 676 Industrial Park Second Addition. <br /> The 20-foOt drainage and utility easement on the common lot line between Lots 1 <br /> and 2, Block 1, Ramsey 67 Industrial Park Second Addition. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Ordinance ~95- authorizing vacation of the drainage and utility easements in <br />RAMSEY 67 INDUSTRIAL PARK SECOND ADDITION, Anoka County, Minnesota, according <br />to the record plat thereof. <br /> <br />Reviewed By: <br />City Administrator <br />City Engineer <br />Economic DeveloI~ment Coordinator C C:06/27/95 <br /> <br /> <br />
