Our development company is called Gor-em, LLO. We
obtained a mortgage on this property through Roger Okerman at
Northeast State Bank. I am also the owner and developer of Willow
Ridge. This! development has no mortgage on it.

At no time prior to, during or after the approval process by the
City of Ramsay for the Amber Ridge plat did I have conversations
with Glen Hairdin. At no time before, during or after ~he mortgage
approYa] pro,ess for Amber Ridge did I have conversations with Glen
Hardin. In fact, at that time I never knew Mr. Hardin was
affiliated With Northeast State Bank. All my dealings concerning
the mortgag~ for Amber Ridge were directly with Roger Okerman.

At no time ~rior to or du~ing the approval process for the Willow
Ridge development did ~ ever have conversations with Glen ~ardin,
other than ih council chambers during regular council meetings when
I was seeking approval for my plat.

In my profession as a builder and developer I have always tried to
strive for ~he highest ethical standards possible, so I take great
exception tO Mr. Hendriksen's accusations that there could be a
possible conflict or misrepresentation concerning the Mayor of
Ramsay and ~y company or partnership.

I find it appalling that Mr. Hendriksen would not check into his
concerns w'i~h me prior to making false accusations. I find it
equally appalling that the ABC papers would feel that this story
merits fro~t page headlines without checking with me for
credibility, on these accusations.

I also feel ithat it's these types of accusations and innuendos that
cause goodl and competent people to hesitate to run for city
