Anoka residents are allowed to keep any size track on their property if it can be stored indoors. <br /> <br />Blaine residents are not not allowed to store any semi-trailers, tractors, buses, special mobile <br />equipment or vehibles over 12,000 pounds. <br /> <br />Brooklyn Center r~esidents cannot store commercial vehicles, farm vehicles, or equipment longer <br />than 21-feet, higher than 8 feet, or larger than 9,000 pounds gross weight at their residences. <br /> <br />Brooklyn Park residents cannot store vehicles larger than 9,000 pounds gross weight at their <br />residences. <br /> <br />Coon Rapids residents are restricted from parking truck-tractors, semi-trailers, tracks or special <br />mobile equipment[except one truck over 9,000 lbs or one track-tractor if the vehicle is owned and <br />operated by the ta'operty owner, is parked on a paved driveway or private parking lot on the <br />property, and is not allowed to idle for more than 1 hour in any 6 hour period. <br /> <br />Columbia Heights residents are only allowed to store passenger vehicles and one track of up to <br />9,000 pounds grosg weight (if it is not a commercial vehicle). <br /> <br />Crystal only allows passenger cars and trucks not exceeding 12,000 pounds gross weight. <br /> <br />Edina does not allow residents to store commercial vehicles outside. (commercial vehicles are <br />vehicles over 3/4 !ton capacity). Recreational vehicles are also prohibited; however, there is a <br />variance process for those seeking to be exempt from this provision. <br /> <br />Elk Riyq:r residents cannot park vehicles larger than 7,000 pounds on public property in the <br />residential district (i.e. they are permitted to park vehicles larger than 7,000 pounds on their private <br />property). Truck-ti'actors and/or semi trailers may be parked in the rural residential district but not <br />in the urban residel~tial district. <br /> <br />Fridley allows one commercial vehicle with a gross weight of over 12,000 pounds if the <br />owner/operator reisides on the property, the vehicle is parked on a hardsurface driveway, the <br />engine is not allo4ted to idle more than two 30 minute periods per twenty-four (24) hour period, <br />and the vehicle isparked at least 10 feet from the property line. Under no circumstances is more <br />than one large commercial vehicle allowed. Residents were given one month to remove extra <br />vehicles and six mbnths to install a hardsurface driveway. <br /> <br />Golden Valley does not allow any commercial vehicles or equipment to be stored on residential <br />properties. <br /> <br />Hilltop allows one recreational vehicle, but no buses, motor macks, mack tractors or commercial <br />vehicles. <br /> <br />Lino Lakes residents are restricted from storing or parking vehicles on their private property in <br />excess of 11,075 pp~ unds gross weight unless a permit is obtained that complies with the following <br />conditions: Unit ts not parked more than 72 hours in a 7 day period, unit is parked behind the <br />front of the dwelling, no more than one permit per residence, no idling of engine while mack is <br />parked, truck mus~ be parked a minimum of 150 feet from the nearest lot line, tractor and trailer <br />will remain connected. <br /> <br />Mgple Grove residents are restricted from having more than one mack in excess of 12,000 pounds <br />parked on their prOperty. <br /> <br />Minnetonka does not allow any vehicles over 12,000 pounds gross vehicle weight. <br /> <br /> <br />
