PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Personnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 13, <br />1995, at the Riamsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Preser~t: <br /> <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> <br />Mayor Glen Hardin <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />CALL TO O i )ER <br />Councilmembet Beyer called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at <br />6:01 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE A~GENDA <br /> r <br />Motion by Cout~cilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Beahen and Beyer. Voting No: None. <br />Absent: Mayo~ Hardin. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case #1: New Hires <br /> <br />City Adminis~ator Schroeder reminded the Committee that it has been determined that a <br />goal of 30 fir~ fighters is an adequate number; the current roster includes 27. Brian <br />Poidinger whol has been on the evening waiting list for approximately one year recently <br />notified the City that his hours have changed and that he can now respond during the <br />daytime hours, i Jayme Spence, who has been with the Fire Department since its inception, <br />will be moving soon to South Dakota. This will create an opening in the evening fh'e <br />fighter comple/nent. Craig Lecy is the next eligible individual on the evening waiting list. <br /> <br />Motion by Cotmcilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to recommend <br />that Council offer the position of Volunteer Fire Fighter to Brian Poidinger and Craig Lecy. <br /> <br />Motion carrier!., Voting Yes: Councilmembers Beahen and Beyer.
