All waste is proposed to be stored indoors until such time <br />as it is transferred toithe clubhouse dumpster. <br />There will be no aqCess to the mair~tenance building from public roads; access will be via the <br />existing dirt path frc~, the clubhouse area, running south and parallel with Hwy. g47. Elimination <br />of golf carts crossing Hwy. g47 to get to the existing maintenance building on the west side of that <br />highway will improv~e vehicular safety. <br /> <br />In a telephone conv~safion with Mr. Schmldt on July 17, City Staff was informed that the only <br />issue not agreed upOn between himself and the golf course was the roof material. Mr. Schmidt is <br />requesting an asphal~t shingle roof and the golf course has proposed a metal roof. <br /> <br />Recommendatiom <br /> <br />The Planning Commission recommend approval of the amendment to the development plan and a <br />site plan acceptable ~ Mr. Schmidt, the applicant and City Code. <br /> <br />City Staff recommends approval of the amendment to the development plan. City Staff <br />recommends approv~al of the site plan with the following modifications: a) reposifion the building <br />10 feet east to meei the requirement for a 20 foot landscape area adjacent to the Hwy. g47; b) <br />reinstate the treed ~rm along Hwy. g47 using some of the trees proposed for the south and east <br />sides of the building to screen the building and above ground fuel storage tanks from the public <br />right of way; and e) ~ constructing the building with an asphalt shingle roof. <br /> <br />Motion to: ~ <br />Adopt Reso!ution g95-07- adopting Findings of Fact # relating to an amendment to <br />the develop ,ment plan for the Rum River Hills PUD Development Agreement. <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Approve/de <br />Planned Ur <br />Findings of <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to: <br /> <br />ay the proposed amendment to the development plan for the Rum River Hills <br />lit Development to include a golf course maintenance building based on <br />Fact # . <br /> <br />Approve/de ~y site plan approval to the Rum River Hills golf course maintenance building <br />contingent t~pon entering into a development agreement with the City and in accordance <br />with the recommendations of City Staff. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />CC: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Engineer <br /> <br />7/25/95 <br /> <br /> <br />
