Jankowski: <br /> <br />This office represents Bury &CarIson, Lc., which owns approx/mately 20 acres located along Jasper <br />Stre~,~ northwest, be ~_tween 142nd and 143rd Avenues northwest. Tl~s letter is to express some concerns of <br />Bury & Carlson related to Improvement Project No. 94-20 and the proposed "AEC Energy Park" plat. <br />We request that CiO Council action awarding the contract for Improvement Project No. 94-20 be <br />continued to the ne~ Council meeting to give the city and Bury & Carlson an oppommity to discuss these <br />concerns. We apokS~e for bringing these concerns up at such a late hour. How, vet, Bury & Carlson has <br />received no notices regarding the improvement project or the AEC plat, and just became aware of the <br />location of the proposed utility lines late last week. <br /> <br />Bury. & Carlson's p~ary concerns are about the location of the proposed utility lines and the potential <br />costs and other imp:~tcts on Bur7 &: Carlson and its property. It is our understanding that the city proposes <br />to run thc sanitary s~wer line through the Bury & Carlson property known as Outlot B, along the south <br />and west of Bury &!Carlson's property. Bury & Carlson owns Outlot B. Although Outlot B is subject to <br />an easement for drlyeway and roadway purposes, the city has not acquired any easement or other property <br />right which woul,d glow the installation of a sanitary sewer linc. This is an issue which should be <br />resolved before a contzact to install the line is awarded. <br /> <br />Bury & Carlson is ~so concerned because it ~ Bury & Carlson's understand~sag that water and sewer <br />would be extended lo th/s area down the future extension of 143rd Avenue, along Bm7 & Carlson's North <br /> <br /> <br />
