· MBC Presentations * 21100 Excelsior Blvd. * Excelsior, MN 55331

e

e

PARTICIPANT: POLICY (Page Three)

POLICY ON THE SALE AND SERVICE
OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

This ~tablishment maintains a consistent, firm, written policy on the
service and sale of alcoholic beverages to the public.
All employees must follow this policy; failure to do so may result in immediate dismissal.

e

Alcoholic beverages will be served or sold only by designated employees who have
been traintd to find out if patrons are oflegal age and who have been trained to
determine if a patron is approaching or is visibly intoxicated.

No employee will serve or sell alcohol to a patron who is under-aged.

No employee will serve or sell alcohol to a patron who is "obviously or visibly
intoxicated."

When a customer has been refused service or been denied a purchase because he or
she is under-aged or appears intoxicated, all employees will help prevent this
customer from possessing or consuming any alcoholic beverage.

Servers or salespeople selling alcohol should report to management their
observations and evidence that a patron may be approaching intoxication. These
observations may be based on calculating approximate Blood Alcohol Levels or on
the behavior of patrons, regardless of how many drinks served.

Management tak6s the responsibility of intervening in the event a customer needs to
be denied service or sale of alcohol.

Once someone has been denied service or sale of alcohol, or "cut off," he or she
remains "cUt off" for the day.

Reasonable efforts should be made to prevent a patron who is "obviously"
intoxicated rTrom driving upon leaving our establishment. If any employee feels any
patron is unable to drive responsibly, he or she will notify management who may
call the police if necessary.

A written report must be completed to document how incidents which relate to these
policies are handled.

I agree to follow all points in this policy statement to the best of my ability.

Employee's'Signature:

Date:

Phone 612-470-9025 * Toll free 800-242-2499 * FAX 612-470-9019
